Clinic Pharmacy, sponsor of the Corn Boil Open and the Field of Dreams Series in 2010 will continue their support in 2011. Launchers Athletics would like to thank the generous support of Clinic Pharmacy to further throwing in the Annapolis Valley and through the province.

Two National Champions Highlight 2011 Season!

Chelsea Whalen was crowned Junior women's shot put champion in Winnipeg in July with a throw of 14.20m. This earned her a spot on the Pan American Canadian Jr. Team that competed in Florida.

Taylor Stutely threw 39.05m in Ottawa in August...setting a new Canadian Midget Girls Championship record...then two weeks later threw 39.55m and 13.99 in shotput.

David Bambrick set a new personal best in shot put (10.63m), Cameron McLennan set a new personal best in discus (40.04m) and Mariele Guerrero set a best in shot put of 10.14m. Awesome job Launchers!

The Jumpstart Athletics Throws Series is replacing the Field of Dreams Series through the support of Canada's leading Track and Field equipment supplier. Launchers Athletics is excited to partner Jumpstart Athletics to improve and support throwing in Atlantic Canada.
